Havant - Hampshire's happiest place to live!

We work and live and play in Havant so know how amazing it is but, it's great to be recognised according to official data based on personal well-being from the Office for National Statistics (ONS).


Havant is the happiest place to live based on the ONS has broken down the average ratings of four factors, including life satisfaction, the feeling that the things done in life are worthwhile, happiness and anxiety, in areas across the UK.

The latest data covers the period between April 2019 and March 2020; this includes the build-up to the first national lockdown on March 23, 2020, in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
For Hampshire, the statistics show that Havant is the happiest place to live, with a score of 7.9 out of 10, followed by Rushmoor with 7.8 out of 10.

The areas which are the least happy are Eastleigh and Winchester, both with a score of 7.0 out of 10.
