A trek to Mount Everest Base Camp - for Charity Motor Neurones Disease

Chapplins of Havant Mortgage advisor Wendy Gawn's husband John has had a milestone birthday this year and wanted to mark the occasion by doing something out of the ordinary. Therefore, he has decided to trek to Mount Everest Base Camp and leaves the UK on 27th August 2017, commencing the trek from Khatmandu on 30th August 2017. This will take him 9 days to reach Base Camp and then 6 days to return to Khatmandu. We are funding the cost of the trip ourselves but wanted to try and raise some money for charity along the way.

John's eldest sister has been living with Motor Neurones Disease for the last 10 years. As she turned 60 this year,  and John 50 he  thought we would try to help raise funds. Since her diagnosis, she has had amazing spirit & inspires us all daily.  MND is a devastating disease. There's still not enough known about it, let alone a cure. So any money raised, which goes straight into new research is going to make a difference. Please give what you can, every little helps!!
