We are lucky to occupy a double fronted Grade II listed office at 9-11 West Street, Fareham, PO16 0BG. Located at the Historic High Street end of Fareham we benefit from a large amount of footfall from potential buyers and are able to carry out viewings 7 days a week unlike most of our competitors.
- QUALIFIED STAFF & LOCAL KNOWLEDGE
We are also extremely proud to say our staff have passed their level 3 exams in residential sales by the leading recognised body Propertymark. This is unbelievably still not a legal requirement in our industry however with Chapplins you can rest assured we are experts in our field and must follow strict regulatory guidelines protecting our clients.
Like our staff John and Darren live and have grown up in Fareham going to local schools and now have children of our own following in the same footsteps. This gives us a wealth of local knowledge while continuing to be a part of the local community and places us perfectly to help local clients sell and find their dream home.

Our Havant branch first opened its doors in 1996 and quickly became the towns leading Independent Estate Agency. The office is situated on a busy corner at the entrance to Havant Town Centre and has a large daily foot fall as it is located between an indoor shopping center, the bus station and the mainline railway station.

Now, approaching 3 decades on, our success continues. Our team have many years of expertise in the local area with our Director, Stuart Hutchings, having been in the property industry for over 20 years. Whether you are looking to sell or buy, we cater our service for everyone's needs and pride ourselves on delivering a bespoke service to each of our clients. We know that all properties, just like their owners, are individual.
Our town centre office has a private office available for customers needing to discuss matters in more privacy. We also have our own in house mortgage advisor, Wendy Gawn, who has worked with us for over 25 years, so you can be sure of excellent advice and a friendly face.
Out lettings team is headed up by the Director, Ashley Newell. Ashley oversees the all of the lettings operations across the Chapplins group.

Our lettings office is not quite what it seems…
The office is situated in Liss village, next door to our sales branch
This location is ideal for accessing the A3 and has a train station on the mainline to London.
Although this particular office opened in early 2022 and looks fairly small, our lettings department has been established for over 20 years and covers a vast area of the South of England.
Our Lettings Director, Ashley, leads his team, working together to ensure a letting each property is a smooth process from start to finish for both the landlord and tenant.
Chapplins delivers a bespoke service to each landlord as we recognise that all clients require an individual service. We cover anything from Tenant Find to Fully Managed.

A Family Run Business
Our Liss Sales branch is a busy little office situated in the heart of Liss Village. The office itself is located adjacent to the mainline train station to London.
This is an ideal location, not only due to the busy footfall as commuters pass on their way to and from work, but also local residents popping to the shops or out for a leisurely walk.

How it all started…
The Liss sales branch ‘Chapplins of Liss’ was established in 2010 by William Newell, following on from the then Bordon office which he helped to establish in 1996.
William specifically wanted to create a friendly, local village estate agency which could not only cater for local residents and their properties, but a branch that would become a distinctive part of the local village community.
- So he did just that!
Now, almost 14 years on...
Since William’s sudden death in 2021, the reins of running the business have now passed on to William’s son, Ashley, who completed his and his father’s latest project, opening a dedicated lettings department in Liss (next door to sales).

Our Sales Director, Tom Garrad, steers the sales department alongside our Sales Manager, Peter Turton, ensuring that anyone enquiring about selling or buying properties in the area are listened to and catered for. Tom and Peter have combined experience of over 40 years’ in the property industry and pride themselves on delivering a bespoke service to each of our clients as they believe that all properties, just like their owners, are individual.
Anna, William’s daughter, works alongside Tom and Peter focussing mainly on the business compliance, social media, marketing and community events. She also assists with the smooth running of both the sale and letting offices and works with all members of the company.
