Kerry was a founding director of Chapplins in November 1996 and has been an estate agent for more years than he would care to remember. (He actually started in 1988) Kerry is responsible for the strategic growth and success of the business but still enjoys the cut and thrust of front line agency and can still be found at properties doing viewings and valuations. Married with five children he is also IT director for Team Association and heavily involved locally with many choirs and theatre groups in his spare time. He has run a number of marathons for charity and supports charity work for adults with learning disability.

Having been in the property industry since 1979, Steve has a respectable knowledge base! One of Steve’s very crucial roles is to chase sales through to completion. In this we try to be proactive rather than reactive, in other words we are chasing solicitors, lenders and agents to make sure they are doing their job rather than waiting to hear when there is a problem. Steve still also gets fully involved in showing applicants over property, answering calls, meeting applicants, clients and carrying out valuations. Steve’s is married with 3 children and spends free time when possible on the golf course or sailing on his boat.

Working alongside our mortgage advisor Wendy Gawn, Melissa obtained a BA in French Studies and MSc in European Real Estate. Melissa has worked in various roles in the property industry including in a local estate agency and then in London as a surveyor and in a local authority planning department. She has returned to work after a career break bringing up her children and enjoys country walks and gardening in her spare time.

Julie-Ann Ward first came into agency in 1994 and worked for Kerry as a trainee! After a number of years as a Sales Manager with other local estate agents, she re joined Kerry again at Chapplins in 2009. Julie- Ann has also spent some of her career time working in a solicitors office so has a very strong understanding of how the Conveyancing process works from both sides of the desk. This insight is invaluable to the team when progressing difficult sales.

Stuart has worked in the property sector since 2004, developing his knowledge of residential sales, new homes, lettings and property management. Having sold everything from studio flats to million-pound beach front properties over the years, his experience of how to negotiate the best sale price for our clients speaks for itself and he gets involved in all aspects of the process, from valuations and listings to viewings and sales chasing. When away from the office, you are most likely to find Stuart either on the golf course or the cricket pitch, that’s if he’s not in his kitchen baking a loaf of bread or two!

William opened the Liss office in 2010, having run the estate agency side of the Bordon office since it opened in 1996. He has spent his entire working life in the estate agency industry; he is a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents. Heading up the Liss sales team and overseeing the lettings department , many of his clients come from recommendation for his professional approach and sound advice. Married with three children, his wife Sharon has told him he can’t retire until he is eighty seven! (She doesn’t want him under her feet): subsequently much of his spare time is spent in the garden!

Having worked in the Petersfield, Liss and Liphook area for the past fourteen years Tom brings a wealth of experience with him. A firm believer in excellent customer service, his passion for property combined with a photographic degree ensures that he is the perfect person to handle every aspect of your house sale. Tom has recently joined the Liss office and lives locally in Liphook with his wife Lucy and son Joe. In his spare time, Tom’s desire to keep learning means that he is currently studying to become an Associated Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). On the few breaks from studying he enjoys quality time with his family, exploring the beautiful local countryside, and clay pigeon shooting.

Ashley is the lettings expert, based in Liss, working alongside his father (fortunately they don’t do the same job!) ARLA qualified he can deal with all aspects of the lettings business. He also covers lettings for Bordon, Havant and Waterlooville area and anywhere in between and beyond. In his spare time he is a keen mountain biker having ridden some of the roughest terrains in the country: also he can sometimes be seen rowing on the Thames!
